My first quilts. Sunbonnet Sues were made on blue and white background. After putting them together, it looked too busy so I took it apart, put in a solid color block and made 2 quilts. All the Sunbonnet Sue dresses and bonnets were made from fabric scraps left over from dresses made for my daughter.

This quilt was made for my nephew as a college graduation present. His paternal grandmother had started the blocks when he was a baby. The bow tie blocks were made by his paternal great-grandmother. I finished the blocks and put them all together for him.

With four blocks left over, I made a baby quilt for my grandson.
